We are a Redbone Coonhound kennel located in mid-Missouri.  There's nothing we enjoy more than getting out into the woods with our dogs. We thank you for visiting our website and hope that you enjoy it as much as we did designing it.

New Addition

IMG_0900.JPGThis weekend we poured our walkout slab for the basement (the concrete truck showed up just as Bonnie was starting to have the puppies).  This little project has been what has kept our super kennel plans at bay for a while.  We will start working on our kennels after our deck is built (and grass planted for Carlei).

The Puppies are Here!

Great news!  The puppies were born on Saturday morning!  They are absolutely precious!  There are 3 males and 3 females.  Two of them are super dark like Clyde and the rest have Bonnie's coloring.  We will put up a lot of photos on Monday.

Wow!

So we're getting closer to Bonnie having the pups!  You can feel them moving in her stomach!  It's so neat!  We can't wait until they get here.  Clinton built Bonnie's puppy box so the pups won't roll off the dog bed.  We've also been doing our research about our job when Bonnie gives birth.  It's a lot to take in!

Clyde hasn't been ignored outside in his pen.  Clint and I have taken him out every night for a run (we're doing our best to try to get into shape).  Clyde actually helps me to keep going!  He has really been listening well lately.  Some days I wonder if he's trying to impress us so that he can come into the house.

She's almost there
Well, Bonnie has been moved into the house.  She's staying the nights in the basement where she will have the puppies, but she is spending her evenings with us in the new house.  She is the queen lately.  She even gets to lay on a towel on the couch like the good ol' days at the old house.  I swear she even can potty outside on command now.  She's behaving so well!  The only thing that stinks about her being inside is hearing her whine at 4:00 in the morning and getting up to let her out.  She has had zero accidents in the basement because she's awesome.  Clyde didn't have as much luck, so after a bath and one night inside, he was back to the pen.
