Finally Back Out There! I don't know about where you are but we've had an extrodinary amount of snow here in Mid-Missouri!
I have had 4 snow days from school in January alone! The last round gave us about a foot of snow and it has been
sticking around making getting out into the woods slow going.
Clint couldn't take another night just staying
inside when he could be out hunting so he took Bonnie and Hank out for a hunt. He said walking 300 yards in that snow
was like walking half a mile on a normal night.
Besides the snow slowing him down, he said it felt great
to get out. The dogs were definitely raring to go because they had a great night and got two coons. It was pretty
tough but they got the job done!
As for Bonnie, she's doing well and we'll keep updating with puppy news!
We're still taking names on the waiting list, so just e-mail Carlei at cwies@live.com.

Bonnie and Her BoyfriendWell, today we took Bonnie to see her boyfriend, Sandy Creek Jake Jr. Jake is a hard hunting performance
sire who is one win away from being a dual grand. He won best overall Redbone in show at St. Louis and won best in
show several times before. It was a downright cold day, but we got to pass it talking to Sara and Curtis Shinkle.
It's always nice to get to spend a day recounting coon hunting stories and listening to the characters other people run
into while hunting!
Last year we did this cross, we loved the pups so much we kept 2! Check out
Bay and Josey's pages to see what kind of pups Bonnie and Jake throw! We're taking names for a waiting list
right now. Let us know if you want one of these future hunters as an addition to your family.
Keep
checking back for news on pups!

Hello 2011!Hello 2011! I hope that everyone had a great holiday with family and friends!
Clint and I were both off between Christmas and New Year so we had plenty of cuddle/movie time with the dogs in the basement!
Another happening in our household was that Bonnie has gone into heat. We will be taking her to the same sire as last
year, Sandy Creek Jake Jr., next week. We look forward to getting to chat with some other Redbone owners and also the
cross that we know will be great from Bonnie and Jake. We loved the cross so much that we kept two from the last litter!
Take a peek at Bay and Josey's pages if you're curious!
