Unfortunately, Clyde died in October 2009. It was too
soon for him to go, but I know he's in a good place. He was a lovable hound that was great at the tree. Had
he been able to come into his own on hunting, he would have been a force to reckon with. He will be missed for sure.
And then there's Clyde...He was a little bit tougher to train than Bonnie. He would be more braun than brain
- not to take anything away from him, but Bonnie just seemed to be the dream dog. However, he has proven that he has
as much of a nose and drive to hunt as Bonnie. We got Clyde from Gene Allhand in Republic, Missouri. He is an
extremely lovable hound and will be your best friend if you scratch behind his ears.
Clyde put up his first
coon when he was nine months old. And to watch him take on a full grown boar coon would make any hunter proud.
He really earned his name.
